Need Of An Hour - Online Exams In Schools

School. Those wonderful years of our lives that we miss to this day and which created the foundation of our position in life today. School was our first step towards the learning environment and forms the basis of our educational development. How we experienced our schooling days and our first touch with nationalized exams (boards) gave us the head start to face examinations and life in general, till date. But did it really? In today’s time, most exams, some interviews and general procedures have mostly been transferred online. The transition from paper exams to giving online exams was a major challenge for most of us and it took considerable time to adapt to these changes. He told me those papers were of his academic tests that were conducted throughout the year. The value addition of such tests is indeed a concern. CCE (Continuous & Comprehensive Examination) is introduced in all CBSE schools for overall evaluation of students. The main purpose of CCE is to make teaching – learning experience tension free and enjoyable. Under this, tests are conducted on weekly basis. The syllabus for it will be that covered in respective weeks. The results of these tests show where students need more guidance and improvements. This in turn makes each and every student fully prepa...
