India one of the most important goals for our country! Not only is it a step
towards massive development of our country technology wise, but also an
upgradation to every Indian's lifestyle!
Let's get digital at the base,
our education, our values, our learning! The project of Digital India pertains
to the idea of bringing internet for governmental facilities right from the
rural areas to all the urban cities. Digitisation will not be one easy task,
especially in the rural areas, due to the lack of knowledge of internet and
computers, both! The dream of digitization of India more or less starts from
our system of education, which needs to spread in all rural areas and now, in
the digital pattern. Rural areas are the new development areas and lack
education adversely. The reason for lack of education in all such areas is no
proper faculty! No one who is educated enough wants to reside in rural areas
and stop themselves from growing and getting more exposure and hence, schools
in rural areas have no proper faculty. Digital way of education will help in availability
of the best teachers to all the remote areas in the country. This will ensure
that the students are imparted with the best from the experts. Digitization
will not hinder the quality of education. It has brought drastic changes in the
education industry not only in regards to learning but also teaching.
Information Technology is going to be the star of the new era of education. The
technology has made both the students and the educators stress free, from the
burden of teaching and stressing with examples to be given to the children!
Digitization of studies will let teachers be at peace and not hustle with the
subjects and topics.
Currently in today’s world, kids
are more attached to their gadgets and it interests them to study with the same
gadgets that they fidget with the whole day long. The traditional methods of
chalk and talk hardly work anymore. These gadgets and electronic items keep
them connected not only to their curriculum but also the outside world.
Digitization also helps the students connected with their education almost
anywhere and not just classrooms and that too at their very own pace, without
having to rush and only after total clarification on the topics.
Well digitization is not just restricted
to learning and teaching but also taking tests and analysis of those! It's faster
and easier to analyse a child's weakness and strength and also train him, in
case of failures to improvise in those areas. Also, sometimes encourage
them to grow in the areas of their strength! Digital way of analysing a student's
grades, capabilities is mostly accurate as it is prone to minimal errors
and lets every child develop only in their field of interest. Video lectures,
concept explanation through mini clips and documentaries, presentations and
pictures are mostly used only for schools, at higher level digitization has a
wider scope. Universities and colleges are adapting the growing technology and
offering online courses, tests and performance check! Apart from all of this
distance learning is one new trend of pursuing future careers and degrees while
working at the same time. Digitization is one massive and important step
towards the development of our country. Adapting this at the education level
may just instil in everyone like it’s in the blood.
